Thursday Prose: 'Alice in Wonderland' by Lewis Carroll

I took this photo at the Kalamazoo Nature Center last Summer. I was so excited to catch this photo with the bumblebee on the flower. I have a thing for bumblebees. Definitely top five cutest bugs. Since I don’t have a zoom lens for my camera yet, I was about three inches away from this little guy. Luckily, bumblebees aren’t aggressive.

Enjoy!

In case you are curious, fuzzy caterpillars are the cutest.

Thursday Prose: ‘How to Kill a Mockingbird’

“I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand.  It’s when you know you’re licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what.  You rarely win, but sometimes you do.”
